I went shopping at Overstock using the gift card that i redeemed from Swagbucks. The item arrived yesterday. I opened it excitedly just to get disappointed with what's inside the box. I shopped a Calvin Klein Performace Women's Basic Micro Warm-ups but the item inside the box was a glove. The invoice attached was right and contains the name of item that i bought. But the item arrived inside the box was totally different.

I went to their website to contact the customer service. Good thing one of the representative was online and able to handle my complain. I just received an email tonight saying that my order is being shipped. However, I still have to wait for the paper that i need to attach in the box in returning this item. I hope they won't let me pay with the shipping otherwise i won't mail it right away. There is always a first on everything. I don't like returning orders that i shopped but this one is a different story. Holiday is a busy day and that is why they misplace and rambled their ordered items.

I received a email from MyPoints saying that I will get 500 points if I shop for atleast $5 at Victoria Secret. I know thta Victoria Secreat was having a sale because yesterday my sister asked me what I want in VS for my birthday. So, anyhow i went shopping at VS this morning and bought myself a bra and panty.

My favorite, non-animated Christmas special of all time is the 1979 film "Scrooge". Albert Finney is fun and particularly nasty as Scrooge, and Sir Alec Guinness plays a memorable and amusingly weird Jacob Marley. With songs such as "I Hate People" (sung by Scrooge, of course), this is not your grandmother's musical. Plenty of humor, plenty of variation on the original theme, and sleigh-loads of fantastic acting give this film a unique personality among the versions of "A Christmas Carol". My favorite character is an unforgettable Ghost of Christmas Present, played by Kenneth More. He gives Scrooge a lively chewing out, accompanied by an enormous cup filled with some strange, white substance. Ebenezer sips it, finds it delicious, and chugs it--getting plastered on the "Milk of Human Kindness". This leads to one of the funniest, most enjoyable scenes of the film. After his rudeness throughout the beginning of the movie, Scrooge has met his match; their banter is entertaining. "Scrooge" is perfect for family viewing; my kids adore it, and it's one they watch for when the holidays roll around. It's a great addition to any holiday collection, but it can be hard to find on DVD; luckily, I have satellite television from http://www.tvbydirect.com/, so I always have several chances to watch it during the holiday season. Be sure to give it a view if you spot it, this is a true gem from the vaults.

I have placed the gifts that husband's colleagues gave for J&J. The gifts was sitting there for two days already after I put up the tree. Just couple of days ago my son secretly tearing up the wrapping paper and saw the toy inside. Aha! Then he approached me and took my hand to finished opening the gift that he started. He was upset because I did not open it for him. I hid the gift and now he is hitting on the sister's gift left under the tree. Well, see how long he can hold himself up not to touch or tear it up the other gift left under the tree.

I used to shop online for Filipino goodies. I also asked my friend one time to include some pinoy stuff in her package to save money for the shipping. This month I asked my sister to buy some Filipino goods. Vegas have lots of Filipino stores and Im sure there are tons of pinoy goods to choose from. I just can't believed that even Pinoy goods like 10x cheaper the price of items in the Philippines are also getting expensive when it gets here in the US. Maybe because of the tax, shipment and all. Oh boy! Nothing is really cheap this days.

I'm not sure how we're going to get to see Santa this year. My kids have been asking me about it every day, but my stepmother has been very ill and that will take priority. My kids are also concerned for her health and they know that it is more important than anything else at this time. However, I think taking them to see Santa might get their minds off things for a while.

I have never been in this situation before, so I'm not sure what to do. We will only have a limited amount of time to see Santa during the holidays. We're going to see Nana in the hospital in Florida. If we leave for a while to see Santa, it could be a nice breather, but would that be like abandoning someone who desires company? What if something happens while we're gone?

Here is a potential game plan. We will leave our vacation home in Florida earlier one morning several days before Christmas. Once we set our home Securityy alarm, we will shoot over to the mall for a quick visit with Santa. This will put the kids in a good mood, which might put Nana in a good mood. She might be offended that we didn't go to see her first, but I'm going to roll the dice and tell her we went to see him. If she truly cares about the happiness of the kids, she will be pleased.

I love Revlon brand of beauty products specially lipsticks since i prefer to apply lipsticks than any other beauty stuff. Anyway, I am not that active anymore at Listia but once in a while i checked for latest goodies and share to get points. I bid on this Revlon Colorburst Lipstick and luckily i won. It is that time of year again when Santa Claus will be listening to the wish lists of the children in the world. It is always so much fun to take my five-year-old nephew to make this visit. Each year he has a different reaction to Santa. The first year he was very reluctant to sit on Santa's lap. Last year he approached Santa with a great deal of excitement. I am hoping for the same this year.

After my sister stops at my house to pick me up I always set my ADT Home Alarm. This offers me peace of mind while we are gone. Then we head out to Macy's. I always enjoy watching child after child take their turn to sit on Santa's lap. After doing this the first year I realized the tremendous amount of patience that Santa must have. This is because I have observed children tug at Santa's beard, pull on his cap, and fuss and fight to get off his lap. I have also heard that once in awhile a child has an "accident" while sitting on his lap. Still, Santa maintains his "Ho Ho Ho's" for each of us to enjoy.

I have been looking for gloves online that I could use for cold weather. I also want to replaced my old winter gloves to more lighter one. Youngsters who are re-invited by the same family may continue with The Fund through age 18, and many enjoy longer summertime visits, year after year. A visit to the home of a warm and loving volunteer host family can make all the difference in the world to an inner-city child. All it takes to create lifelong memories is laughing in the sunshine and making new friends.

The majority of Fresh Air children are from low-income communities. These are often families without the resources to send their children on summer vacations.
