A promising 18-year-old Filipina Charice Pempengco will join Glee. I have read an article before at Philippine news about Charice who was humored to join the newest show TV "Glee" but she clarified issue over twitter that it was just a humor and honest mistake by her manager. Now I just read a new article at yahoo news about Charice will recur next season on the dramedy Glee. She will play a foreign exchange student with vocal chops that will give Rachel (Lea Michele) some serious competition, according to Entertainment Weekly, which first reported the news. Charice singing ability was first discovered in some Asian singing contest and became popular on Youtube.

Charice rose to fame on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" after a video of her performing "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" went viral on YouTube when she was 16. She released her self-titled debut album in May. She is the pride for Filipino and her talent will definitely take her to the top.
