The hit series Gossip Girl Finale that was set in December 17, 2012 was the last and finale episode of the show. The show ended and got canceled after the 6th season. The final episode was kind of had interesting twist of story.

Gossip Girl is set in an exclusive New York City boarding school. The plot centers on the day-to-day dramas of the school's most privileged students. Kristen Bell provides the voice of an anonymous blogger who narrates the action.

Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) and Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) get married. In the final moments the series speeds forward five years later where Chuck and Blair are revealed to have had a child and Nate Archibald appears successful and is rumored to be running for Mayor of New York. The show ends with the wedding of Serena van der Woodsen and Dan Humphrey. It's a small ceremony, in what looks like Blair and Chuck's home together, where Lily is with her original husband William, Serena and Eric's father, and Rufus seems to be happy with another woman (musician Lisa Loeb, who guest-starred in the first season) along with Dorota, Nate, Jack Bass and Georgina (who are now together), Jenny and Eric. During the finale, it was revealed that Dan Humphrey was Gossip Girl.

The night was kicked off with a look back at the show’s six-year run (featuring clips and interviews with the cast and producers), followed immediately by the final episode, which TVLine can exclusively reveal is titled, “New York, I Love You XOXOX.” Look forward to watch CW’s upcoming series Sex and the City prequel soap, The Carrie Diaries.
